Alison Aprhys is an experienced, independent freelance journalist and photographer. Her surfing articles and images have been published in many newspapers and surfing magazines including:
Slide, Pacific Longboarder, Surf Life for Women, Surfers Village, The Age, The Australian and the Sydney Morning Herald. Based in Jan Juc, Alison regularly travels along the coast to surf and take
photographs. She has exhibited her surfing images at Surfworld and at the Great Ocean Road Photography Exhibition. Alison also reviews surfing books for several media outlets and regularly lectures
on freelance writing and photography. She is a member of the MEAA. Alison's other speciality is photographing firefighting and her work appears on CFAConnect. |
